Empty State

Empty states appear when there’s nothing to show yet—not because something failed. Set context, reduce anxiety, and point people to a single useful action.

Writing guidelines

  • State what’s empty in plain language (avoid “No data found”).
  • Explain why the area matters or what they'll see after they get started.
  • Offer one primary action; secondary links are optional.
  • Skip blame or apologies—nothing is broken.

No development plans yet

Create a plan with Career Coach to track goals, checkpoints, and 1:1 topics for your team.
